Original special effects miniature of "Baal", played by R. David Smith used in the Charles Band directed science fiction film 'Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn' (1983), the story of a space ranger named Dogen (played by Jeffrey Byron), who is in search of an intergalactic criminal with supernatural powers named Jared-Syn (played by Michael Preston).
Starring Jeffrey Byron, Michael Preston, Tim Thomerson, Kelly Preston and Richard Moll.
R. David "Dave" Smith is also known as the actor and stunt performer who played the Predator in the 1990 film Predator 2. Other notable films Smith has appeared in include A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001).
The first one-armed Hollywood stuntman, having been born missing his left arm just below the elbow, Smith portrayed the Predator after the creature's arm is sliced off by Harrigan (Danny Glover).
