Merwin & Hulbert double-action pocket revolver, .38 centerfire caliber, 5-shot cylinder, blued finish, 3-1/2” barrel, hard-rubber grips, patented folding hammer, serial #27715, in its original cardboard box. The revolver remains in original near fine condition with 85-95% original blue finish evenly thinning and toning with some just beginning normal age, minor scratches, etc. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp,the hammer and trigger show 90% plus bright case hardening. The grips are fine to near excellent. The edges are sharp, the action is crisp, the interior is excellent. The box shows just normal aging. These pocketrevolvers are very scarce with a high percentage of blue remaining as most of them were originally nickeled. Est: $2,500 - $5,000
