Mermaids (1990) - Cher Flesh Colored Body Suit.
The lot includes production paperwork and an 8 x 10 photo of the scene.
Original body suit with spaghetti straps by Capezio worn by "Mrs. Flax", played by Cher in the production of the Richard Benjamin directed family comedy-drama film 'Mermaids' (1990), set in 1963, its plot follows a neurotic teenage girl who moves with her wayward mother and younger sister to a small town in Massachusetts.
Starring Cher, Bob Hoskins, Winona Ryder, Michael Schoeffling, and Christina Ricci in her film debut.
This body suit was worn during the tub scene (scene 11A) when Cher was lying in the tub reading Peyton Place with bubbles all around her. Cher refused to sit nude in the tub so the costumes director purchased the body suit for her to wear.
Original costume tag from the movie is attached to the body suit.
