Twice-signed DS, signed "Estelle O'Brien Thompson" and "Merle Oberon," three pages, 8.5 x 13, October 12, 1939. Contract between Merle Oberon and Samuel Goldwyn, Inc., which relates to a prior loan-out with London Film Productions, with the two former parties agreeing that said prior contract has been fulfilled and has expired. Signed twice at the conclusion in fountain pen by Oberon, once with her birth name and then below with her professional name. In very fine condition. The London Film loan-out was likely for the comedy Over the Moon, starring Oberon, Rex Harrison, Ursula Jeans, and Herbert Lomas, which was released on October 19, 1939. That same year, Oberon starred as Catherine Earnshaw in William Wyler's highly acclaimed film adaptation of the novel Wuthering Heights.
