For Marion Smith with best wishes from the Mercury Astronauts,” and signed underneath in ink and ballpoint, “Virgil I. Grissom,” “John H. Glenn, Jr.,” “Alan B. Shepard, Jr.,” “Donald K. Slayton,” “M. Scott Carpenter,” “Leroy S. Cooper, Jr.,” and “Walter W. Schirra, Jr.” In fine condition, with a light shade of uniform toning to signed page and inside pages, and some mild toning to covers and spine. Dustjacket is lightly toned and rubbed with some small tears to edges, price clip inside, and light chipping to head and tail of spine. An attractive piece bearing the astronauts less common “formal” variety of signatures. Pre-certified Scott Cornish and RRAuction COA.
