Includes certificate of authenticity. Approx 26x30". 20% of proceeds go to charity. Frederic Menguy was born in Paris, France in 1927-2007. He attended evening classes at the City of Paris and became professor of drawing, which allowed him time to devote himself to painting from 1956. He was a member of the Salon d'Automne and member of the Committee of the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts. Winner of the Critics in 1968 as Bernard Buffet 20 years earlier, he exhibited in France and worldwide, his works are in many museums.Menguy has infinite talent to be a painter we recognize at first glance. His passion for the subjects are happy ,especially the circus or the runway lights keeps them all thinking of happiness, laughing with clowns and balloons of all colors. He expressed beautifully what this eternal child brings to the painting by sweetness his grace and joy that it communicates. Includes certificate of authentiticty. Excellent condition.

The Following is the complete terms and conditions for which all property is offered for sale.
1. All Property is sold as is, we make no guarantees, warranties or representations expressed or implied with respect to the property or correctness of the catalog or other descriptions of authenticity or of authorship, physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, providence, exhibition or historical relevance of the property. Item is as described. No statements anywhere, whether written or oral, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty, or representation. Prospective bidders should inspect the property before bidding to determine condition, size and whether or not it has been repaired or restored. NO refunds or credit shall be issued.
2. A premium of 18% of the successful bid price will be added thereto online and is payable by purchaser as part of the total bid price.
3. All lots are sold in NM are subject to an 5.125% New Mexico sales tax unless a resale number is given.
4. Payment must be made on the day of the purchase. Payment can be Check, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Propay, Bank Wire Transfers, or Cashier’s Check.
5. Bidders are required to register prior to sale and must use the provided bidder number if provided.
6. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer will have the final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to reoffer or resell the item in dispute.
7. On the fall of the auction hammer, sale will be passed to the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, subject to the fulfillment by such bidder of all the conditions set forth herein, and bidder assumed full risk and responsibility and will pay the full purchase price. Invoices are subject to audit for error and bidder is responsible for paying any balances due therein.
8. All articles are to be removed within 10 days after sale. Any item not removed will be stored by ART VIP Charity. Fees will be charged accordingly.
9. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of carriers or packers of purchased lots, whether or not recommended by us.
10. We reserve the right to withdraw any property prior to sale.
