Fine. The leatherbound edition of a highly important sale featuring all of the classic works on early U.S. coppers, generally in unimpeachable condition. Kolbe notes in his introduction that he had never before offered so few lots in a single sale, and the fact that he spent 111 pages describing 222 lots gives some indication of the quality of the sale's contents.
