<B>Men's Adventures #27 (Atlas, 1954) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> The series that was a war book, then a horror title, became a superhero showcase for its final two issues as part of the short-lived superhero revival. The cover is by the Human Torch's creator Carl Burgos, and there's interior art by Dick Ayers (drawing the Torch), Mort Lawrence (Captain America), and Bob Powell (the Sub-Mariner). Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $638; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,007.
