Altogether a near fine copy. <BR><BR>Buzz Aldrin (Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr., January 20, 1930) was the Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 11 and the second person to walk on the Moon. In this work Aldrin recounts the remarkable race to the Moon during the Apollo project, of which he was an integral part. <BR><BR>Signed on the half title page: "<I>Walt Cunningham Apollo 7</B></I>" (Ronnie Walter Cunningham, March 16, 1932) lunar module pilot for Apollo 7 in 1968. "<I>Richard Gordon</B></I>" (Richard Francis Gordon Jr. October 5, 1929) who commanded Apollo 12 in 1969, the second manned mission to land on the Moon. "<I>Gene Cernan</B></I>" (Eugene Andrew Cernan March 14, 1934) flew in Gemini 9A, Apollo 10, and commanded Apollo 17 in 1972. "<I>Buzz Aldrin</B></I>". "<I>Dave Scott</B></I>" (David Randolph Scott, June 6, 1932) commanded Apollo 15 and walked on the moon.
