It is marked on the underside with the crossed swords mark Meissen began using in 1924 (with a dot between sword tips). It also has an impressed number "80" and a hand incised "C2." Similar figurines are still being made by Meissen today and a new one sells for about USD$700. This one is offered at a significant discount because it has been restored (profesionally).
