Yadavas of Devgiri, Ramchandra Deva, Light weight Gold Gadyana, 2.77g, Uniface, Five punches-2x stylised Kannada “Shri”, 1x Shanka Chakra emblem, 1x Devnagari legend “Shri Rama” around, warrior running to right in centre. Very fine, rare.
These types of coins are very different from other issues of Yadavas and was perhaps struck at a diffident provincial mint. The Vaishnavite context of most symbols makes it clear that the coin is an issue of Yadavas.
