Eastern Chalukyas - uninscribed fractional coin in alloyed copper of 'Vishnukundin' fabric, attributed to post -Vishnuvardhana period (c.700-800 AD), not listed in major publications, 1.33g. Obv: highly stylized lion with gaping mouth facing left in dotted circle. Rev: crude representation of fish on lotus (incarnation of Vishnu), crescent with dots above.
