Early medieval Maharashtra (2), Khandesh region, two 'bull' type alloyed copper coins of 'Vishnukundin' fabric, (600-700 AD), 1.72g and 2.42g respectively. Obv: Bull standing facing right, symbols/legend above . Rev: Kalasha (vase) placed on a pedestal with two lamp-posts flanking it. (2 coins)

Extremely fine, Rare.

The smaller of the two coins has Brahmi legend Shri Rana above the bull, and it is attributed to Ranavigraha, who could have been a local Rashtrakuta ruler (600-700 AD).
