Early Medieval Maharashtra, Khandesh region, 'bull' type alloyed copper coin of 'Vishnukundin' fabric attributed to 'Varaha', probably a local Rashtrakuta ruler (600-700 AD), 7.10g. Obv: Bull standing facing right, Brahmi legend Shri Varaha above. Rev: Kalasha (vase) placed on a pedestal with two lamp-posts flanking it.

About extremely fine, Very rare.

Varaha' appears to be a new ruler name added to the group of Northen Maharashtra rulers who issued 'bull'-type coins of Vishnukundin fabric.
