Early Medieval Gujarat, post-Gupta period unattributable copper coin tentatively attributed to the Rashtrakutas of South Gujarat (Lata), (700-800 AD), 2.39g. Obv: In a circular border, lion standing facing right, Brahmi letter Shri above. Rev: Frontally seated Garuda holding two snakes in his hands.

Very fine, Rare.

The tentative attribution is suggested based on the depiction of the Garuda, which was the dynastic emblem of the Rashtrakutas.
