Mitchiner has divided the coinage of Dharmavijaya into two mints, one at Vaisali (near Arakan, now in Myanmar) and the other at Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. These are distinguished by the form of the letter "Ja" in the ruler's name. This piece is the Vaisali type.
