A nice collection of medicine related glassware. There is a great quack medicine bottle that was blown in a mold and has a hand tooled lip. The bottle measures 5" x 2" x 1" and is embossed on the front with LORD'S OPODELDOC and has a man in Victorian dress throwing down his crutches. According to The Ottawa Free Trader, "Dr. Baker's Specific Remedy will cure all ills of the genitals within a few days." This violet, 4.25" bottle that once held this miracle medicine has a rough edge at the base is embossed with the good doctor in formal attire and is in nice condition. Also in the lot is a 7" tall Indian weave, cobalt colored bottle that is in very good condition. There is also a 4" cobalt colored tubular medicine bottle in very nice shape. Six dose glasses round out the lot, including, a clear glass, spouted 1 ounce, a clear glass from Lengfeld Pharmacy in San Francisco, an amber piece, one from Shallenbergers, a clear glass from H.B. Yardley and an 8 ounce with no name. All are in excellent condition. - Jacobitz Collection -59908
