Rao Tula Ram was the Ahir Raja of Rewari in Haryana. He was a hero of the Indian War of Independence of 1857-59. In November 1857, he fought a bloody battle with the British at Nasibpur near Narnol in which the British suffered heavy losses. Rao Tula Ram then joined Tatya Tope and fought in Western India against the British for a year, before ultimately moving to Afghanistan in the aftermath of the War. He died in 1863 while in Kabul.
