Arthur Ashe's medallion from his win at the 1975 Pacific Southwest Tennis Championships. This same year Ashe made history as the first black winner of Wimbledon. The Pacific Southwest competition was known by that name from its debut in 1927 until the end of the century when it was named after various sponsors and occasionally referred to as the Los Angeles Open. This medal is engraved ''Winner / Men's Singles / 1975'' on the reverse. Petite medallion measures 1.5'' in diameter. Minor tarnishing to verso, else fine. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
