<B>Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Winner Horace Porter Signature</B></I> “<I>Horace Porter</B></I>”. 3.5” x 2”, on note card, affixed to a paper backing sheet with short biographical sketch in pencil, paper slightly age toned, else very good condition. Horace Porter (1837-1921) was awarded the Medal of Honor for valor at the Battle of Chickamauga. He also served on the staff of General U. S. Grant during the last year of the war.
