Medal - ROMANIA - The medal "Ferdinand I"
Instituted on May 10th, 1929, by the Crown Council, under the same regulation which founded the Order "Ferdinand I", confered only to Romanian citizens, for merits in the national union. The medal continued to be confered after the Order was closed, on February 1937. The members of armed forces wore crossed swords on the ribbon. Breast Badge, bronze, on averse the portrait of King Ferdinand I, and "Ferdinand I, King of Romania", on reverse the decoration of the Order "Ferdinand I", the cross of his four ciphers, and his rule's years, 1914 - 1927. Maker's mark "Resch" on reverse. Crossed swords on the original ribbon, for military decoration, and original box of issue, from National Mint (Monetaria Nationala). Mint condition.
