The "Defenders of the Independence" medal, instituted on June 5th, 1878, commemorative award for all participants and activities during the Independence War, either in, or on behalf the armed forces. Breast Badge, bronze, on reverse the engraver's mark, E. Falot, with original ribbon; "Russian commemorative medal of the 1877-1878 war", awarded by Tsar Alexander II to Romanian military troops who fought in the battles of Pleven, and included among war medals in the Romanian Hierarchy, by the High Decree 2141 on September 18th, 1878. Breast Badge, bronze; The "Crossing of the Danube" cross, instituted on March 23rd, 1878, commemorative award for all military and civilian personnel who participated in the 1877-1878 campaign and operated across the Danube. Breast Badge, bronze, with original ribbon. Very interesting set of old decorations, in a very good condition.
