For your consideration is this mechanical iron fruit or wine press, circa early 1900's. The press shows unmarked construction, traditional to early 1900's machinist construction. A fruit press is a device used to separate fruit solids—stems, skins, seeds, pulp, leaves, and detritus—from fruit juice. The condition of this press is good; the only part missing is the plunder used to mash and press the fruit or wine. The measurements of this metal gear press are 22" x 16" x 13".
