Very rare ''Buffalo Illustrated Express'' newspaper dated 15 September 1901 reporting on the assassination of President William McKinley in Buffalo, and showing the last purported photograph of him, taken 17 minutes before he was shot. Complete 28 page paper contrasts McKinley's jovial character with that of another assassinated President, Abraham Lincoln, and also reports on McKinley's funeral and Roosevelt's swearing-in. Newspaper is in very good condition with minimal chipping and expected discoloration.
