Featured in this lot is this had colored lithograph of A-Na-Cam-E-Gish-Ca originally from McKenney & Hall and later published by Key & Biddle in 1838-39. The artwork is wonderfully and professionally crafted hand colored lithograph construction that shows A-Na-Cam-E-Gish-Ca a Chippeway Chief. Original, early (possible first) folio edition lithograph hand-colored at publication by various artists, notably Charles Bird King. The lithograph shows the chieftain wearing a trade cloth wrap with a coin necklace adornment and straight black hair. The lithograph is marked as follows: Painted by C.B. King - Lehman & Duval, Lith rs Phila - A-Na-Cam-E-Gish-Ca - A Chippeway Chief - Philadelphia Published by Key & Biddle - Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1836 by Key & Biddle in The Clerks Office of the District Court of the Eastern District of Pa. The condition of this lithograph is in well preserved condition that doesn't show any obvious signs of damage and shows well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this lithograph is 19 7/8" x 13 5/8".
