<B>McClellan & Pendleton Jugate Ballot.</B></I> Proclaiming that "The Union is The One Condition of Peace. We Ask No More", this Michigan ballot presents handsome portraits of the Democratic candidates in opposition to the Lincoln ticket in 1864. Interestingly, this must have been printed with an error as one line for a state senator was separately printed and affixed at the appropriate spot. Cut tight at top, usual age wrinkles, overall bright and clean. While one sees single-picture McClellan tickets on occasion, this jugate form is most unusual.
