Maynard single shot carbine, .50 cal., 20” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stock, #21247. This Civil War era gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 95% original muted blue finish to barrel with some small peppering of pin prick pitting, approx. 60% original case colors that may be enhanced by a simple oiling as the metal surfaces are dry from long storage. The bore is very good, the action crisp, the markings are sharp and the wood butt stock is fine with two very sharp inspector’s cartouches on the left side just above the barrel release lever. A very nice Maynard in untouched condition. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
