In original leather case, a gold metal pin on a pink ribbon. The case has 1620 at top, a picture of the ship, and Mayflower at bottom, (slight stains upper right corner). Obverse has a pictorial Mayflower and the words Plymouth / 1620 / 1897. The reverse has General Society of Mayflower Descendants around the perimeter and engraved in the center: Ellen / Francis / Clark /2744 / 8138. Metal is 26 x 30 mm; weights 12.64 grams including ribbon. Consignor note says 14 carat, but tests 18 carat. From the website of the Mayflower Society: "In 1620, a brave group of 102 men, women, and children sailed across the Atlantic on the Mayflower in search of a better life. In 1897, the General Society of Mayflower Descendants was established to pay homage to the Pilgrims through preservation and education. The Mayflower Society now has a network of more than 54 member societies across the world."
