Delaware. May 1, 1758. Fifteen Shillings. “Printed by B. FRANKLIN” Issue. “Horse” vignette. Conservation. PMG net graded VG-10 (Our grade Choice Fine+).
Fr. DE-59. This early Delaware note has a clean, even appearance. There is a sealed centerfold split at right with conservation. The centering is above average and partial worn signatures are mostly clear. This note is the Second Finest Certified at PMG of only two on this number, the finest being merely Fine-15. It is significantly finer in quality than the plate note as illustrated in Newman for this issue on page 123. Very Rare and missing in virtually every Delaware currency collection.
