Unsigned handwritten letter in French by Maximilien Luce, four pages on two adjoining sheets, 4 x 5.25, no date but circa 1910s. A handwritten letter in pencil by the esteemed artist, boasting a wonderful full-page landscape sketch. Luce writes to his son, "My old Frederick," in part (translated): "I have not yet got to see Monet and so do yourself give your news to him. If you come to me, we will go together to see him. I don’t know if Bonnard is in Vernon." In fine condition.
