Gorchi,” on the reverse of a 5.5 x 3.5 picture postcard of Capri, no date, but postmarked February 14, 1908. Letter in the hand of Gorky’s wife, Maria Andreyeva, who has addressed it to “Ugo Ojetti, Hotel de Vesuve, Napoli.” In full: “My wife and I regret very much the adjourned rendezvous–Hoping that Noad is doing better. All our best regards.” In fine condition, with pencil cancellation to address panel, and a few small corner dings.
