Laue,” one page, 6 x 4, October 3, 1938. Letter to physicist Rudolf Ladenburg, teaching at Princeton since 1931. In part: “On 7th November 1938 Mrs. Professor Lise Meitner is celebrating in Stockholm (Sweden) Arsta Domhotell, Norlandsgatan 8-10, her 60-th birthday. I beg you to forward this message to your colleagues.” In very good condition, with scattered creasing and several rusty paperclip marks to body. RRAuction COA.
