Prolific German composer (1873–1916) best known for his densely contrapuntal, Bach-inspired keyboard works. ALS in German, signed “Reger,” one page, 5 x 6.5, no date. Letter to Kurdirektor von Beckerath in Bad Pyrmont. In part (translated): “All in all the program also the one by Frau Dr. Fischer I am okay with. You will get message from Ibach. The 5th Brandenburgische Concert we will have a rehearsal on July 20. On the 19th in the morning we have the rehearsal of Hiller variations and the violin concert. On the 20th! everything.” Reverse bears a self-contained address panel, filled in by Reger. In fine condition.
