I hope to reclaim that mysterious waif either before my wife and I go to the country or after we return.” Also includes a pencil sketch by Beerbohm on an off-white 4.5 x 7.5 sheet, showing a caricature of an elegant man with a prominent nose. Nicely double-matted and framed together to an overall size of 16 x 13.25, with a window in the backing for viewing the original mailing envelope, addressed in Beerbohm’s hand.
