Humorous vintage glossy 7.5 x 9.75 full-length photo of Baer and actor George Gobel squaring off behind the scenes of the 1958 film I Married a Woman, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To my pal Larry—I still think I can beat this George Gobel. I got killed in this movie. Your life guard at the shallow end of your pool, Max Baer, 1957," with Baer writing below their images: "Baer—weight 256" and "George Gobel, Weight 161.” In fine condition, with trimmed borders and a light paperclip impression to the top edge. Consignor notes that the recipient "Larry," was Robert Cameron, a championship Canadian rodeo rider known by the nickname 'Calgary Red.'
