Produced in 1935 during German rearmament. Top of chamber is stamped with the letter "G" for the date 1935 and the toggle is marked "S/42". Eagle/63 and eagle firing proofs are present. Serial number present on the front of the frame (with "e" suffix), left barrel extension, and barrel underside with the partial serial number (35) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear bar, safety bar, thumb safety lever, extractor, front toggle, and toggle link. Safety and extractor marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively and the bore marking is present on the barrel underside. The checkered grips are not numbered. With a nickel plated magazine with alloy base numbered to a different gun (6874).

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 90% faded original blue finish thinning to a brown patina (strongest on the grip straps). The small parts retain 60% faded original straw color with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
