Sproterized Peruvian military Mauser style bolt-action rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington. Originally manufactured in Germany by Mauser for contract with the Peruvian Government. It features a blued finish, an approximately 26" tapered barrel, bent bolt handle, smooth curved double-set triggers, and no provisions for sights. The receiver ring stamped "Republica Del Peru" with national crest, and "Mauser Original." "Waffenfabrik Mauser-Oberndof a/n," and "Modelo 1909" in two lines on the receiver rail. Bore is dirty and rifling looks fair. Monte Carlo stock with a smooth semi-pistol grip stock, and a checkered plastic buttplate is in good condition with the usual scratches/dings. The action is crisp and tight, but the rear trigger fires when pushed forward. The bluing is approximately 75% intact with edge wear and superficial scratches. The receiver metal shows pitting, and the bolt handle has abrasive marks on it. This rifle is fitted with optic rails, Weaver 1" rings, and topped with a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x scope with ring adjustable objective and duplex reticle.
Condition is NRA Good.
