Mauser Model 1896 “Broomhandle” semi-auto pistol, .30 cal., 5-5/8” barrel, blue finish, wood grips, #80164 (all matching visible numbers) with wood shoulder stock/holster and leather carrier marked “Joseph Moll Goch 1916” with main spring removal tool. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the majority of its military finish, lots of straw finish remaining on both sides of the trigger, considerable niter blue remaining on the left side of the safety lever, good bore, crisp action, sharp markings and overall good wood grips; combination shoulder stock/holster is overall very good; the leather carrier is good to very good with scattered scuffing, minor repair and re-stitching; a very descent set and of collector quality; accompanied by copy of early Dept. of Treasury NFA 1968 Form 4467 where Army Officer who acquired the gun originally in 1959, registered it with Treasury pursuant to the “new” National Firearms Act at the time (14 November 1968).
