An early production 1896 commercial contract cone hammer variation Broomhandle pistol, complete with the original wooden shoulder stock/holster. Blade and 500-yard tangent sights, with the top of the chamber marked with the 3-line address, crown and "crown / U" on the left, Ulm antler on the right and a set of gothic letter proofs on the underside. Matching serial numbers on the frame, on the hammer and on the rear sight leaf. Fitted with two piece grooved walnut grips with a lanyard ring on the butt. The inside of each grip panel is numbered to the gun. Complete with the original wooden shoulder stock/holster numbered to the gun.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 80% of the original finish thinning to gray on the barrel, some thinning on the frame, and some high edge wear. The grip straps have a mottled gray patina. Much of the original niter blue remains on the small components. The grips are also very fine with only a few minor dings and handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine. The revarnished stock is fine with a nice tiger strip grain and a few scattered minor dings and dents.
