The most common of the letter dated Lugers, this pistol is G dated, which was the code for the year 1935. The top of the chamber is marked with the letter "G" and the toggle is marked "S/42". The right side of the barrel extension is marked with two "eagle/63" proofmarks and a droop winged eagle. The droop winged eagle is also marked on the left side of the toggle and right barrel side, with an additional "eagle/63" on the left side of barrel. The bottom of the barrel is marked with the matching serial number and "8.82". Most of the small components are marked with the partial serial number "16", including breechblock and firing pin. Straw colored small parts, standard sights, magazine with aluminum base numbered to another gun, stock lug on the backstrap and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Custom refinished, with approximately 98% of the blue remaining with some minor thinning of the barrel and rear of barrel extension. The small components retain most of the straw color. The grips are excellent with a few light nicks in the sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
