This is a good example of a 1930's Nazi reworked Luger pistol blank chamber and toggle, with the partial Nazi eagle proofs on the right side of barrel extension. Matching partial numbers on the takedown latch, side plate, trigger, safety, toggle pin, toggle links, extractor and breechblock. Fitted with unnumbered checkered walnut grips, a nickel plated Schmeisser police magazine with an unmarked wood base and a leather pull strap on the rear of the frame.
BBL: 3 7/8 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 9 mm Luger
Finish: blue/straw
Grips: walnut checkered
Serial Number: 1639u
Condition: Very fine as partially refinished with 90% of the arsenal blue finish overall with wear and blue loss on the edges and high spots overall with more blue loss on the grip straps, side plate, muzzle area of the barrel, front edges of the frame rails, with more blue loss/light cold blue touch-up on the right frame rails. The pistol retains 75% of the straw colors on the small parts. The grips are in excellent condition with the exception of a chip on top left panel under the safety lever. Mechanically excellent.
