Maund (Benjamin) THE AUCTARIUM OF THE BOTANIC GARDEN ca 1850. 2 vols in 1. 4to [bound with] "THE GUIDE" (to the Botanic Garden). [1849]. The Guide has a BOTANIC GARDEN title page with "The Guide Part of" added in Ms (probably by the author). This appears to be Maunds' own copy with a manuscript note on the verso of the title to the Guide added May 17, 1849; "The Guide, is I hope useful as far as it goes, but I fear it will not be carried on further" [plus three lines] and signed B. Maund. Modern quarter calf, gt. Crimson title label. £120-150
