Internationally acclaimed American violinist (1867–1920). Original 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Powell holding her violin by Dupont of New York, signed and inscribed in black ink “To Mrs. E. I. Kiffer, Maud Powell, December 1897,” with Powell adding a two-bar AMQS under her signature. A few edge dings and chips, scattered light soiling and rubbing to image, and some irregular ink adhesion to signature and quote, otherwise fine condition.
