Matching small-bore set to the previous lot (688) consisting of 28 and 410 gauge SCO extra sideplate over/under shotguns, fully and finely game-scene engraved by Galeazzi. Serial #90173, and 90174. Gun 90173 isgold-inlaid “3” showing 28ga, 27” barrels, choked “Full” over “Improved Modified”. Low-rise ventilated rib, single trigger, auto ejector, English style straight grip, 14-7/8”, stocked to match. Beautifullyengraved with game scenes by Galeazzi showing flying and game birds on left side, high art engraved borders, small vignettes, beautiful and fine detail work with retriever fetching bird, and finely engraved motifs matching to its mates. Stocked in deluxe burl walnut. Excellent to near mint, 98-99% plus condition showing only possibly test firing. Gun #90174 is gold-inlaid “4” showing 410ga, 27” barrels, configured to match its mates withsame dimensions choked “Full” over “Improved Modified”.
