Mata Ortiz Polychrome Rabbit Bowl by Roberto Banuelos, measures 3.5''H x 4''D and is signed on the bottom, FYI: ''Roberto and Angela Ba¤uelos are a husband and wife team of potters from Mata Ortiz. She forms, sands and polishes their pots while he applies the designs. She uses black, yellow, red, white and mixed colors of clay that he then paints in multiple layers. He often begins by spattering drops of a particular color across the piece, then adding his interpretations of Mimbres designs: fish, rabbits, lizards, feathers and miscellaneous fantasy creatures. He is considered one of the top ten potters in Mata Ortiz. Roberto Banuelos is mentioned prominently in the authoritative book, The Many faces of Mata Ortiz, pages 85-87.''
