Manufactured in 1975 and was subsequently engraved by Master Engraver James R. DeMunck circa 1985. The barrel has the one line Hartford address on top and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left side, all in gold. A checkered engraved pattern with a gold inlaid boarder surrounds the blade front sight. The breech end of the barrel has 2 1/4 inch floral scroll and punch dot engraved wedges at the breech and 3/4 inch engraved wedges at the muzzle, with three gold inlaid bands at the breech and muzzle. The ejector rod housing also features wedges of the engraving at the rear and front with the barrel breech bands extending to the rear of the ejector rod housing. The cylinder has a light floral engraving which is accented with a gold inlaid geometric pattern and three gold inlaid bands at the rear. The frame features a full floral scroll and punch dot engraving with gold inlaid borders. The scrollwork extends to the sides of the trigger guard, top of the back strap and as wedges on the front grip strap, back strap and butt with the engraving accented with a gold inlaid pattern similar to that found on the cylinder. Fitted with a set of ivory grips featuring gold Colt medallions at the top. The back of the left grip panel is marked "21/-26/AJE/INDIA." The front of the frame is signed and dated by the Master Engraver: "J.R./DEMUNCK/'85." James DeMunck is a world renowned Master Engraver for Galazan.

Condition:
Near mint as professionally engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraver James DeMunck. The revolver retains 99% plus of the blue finish with only the slightest handling marks. The grips are excellent showing a few hairline age cracks at the bottom and a few light handling marks. The ivory has a very attractive color. Mechanically excellent.
