Master Engraved Black powder Colt Single Action Army Revolver
Produced in 1894. Fixed sights, with the 2 line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "45 COLT" on the left side, with crescent ejector rod head. Black powder frame, with 2 line, 3 date patent markings next to the Rampant Colt on the left side, "692" on the loading gate, "0" in the hammer well and "V" on the rear cylinder face. Expertly scroll and punch dot engraved on the barrel, ejector housing, frame, cylinder and grip straps, nearly 70% coverage. Matching numbers. With later production checkered grips with Rampant Colt Federal Eagle embossing. Information provided by a previous owner names Nick Kusmit, Winchester Master Engraver, as the man who decorated this revolver.

Condition: Very good as refinished and custom engraved, with 99% of the current blue and casehardened finishes, showing light handling marks overall and a small amount of rust on the ejector rod and barrel. Barrel has been shortened, and the ejector housing no longer sits flush. Sight lowered. Case colors are bright and vivid. Replacement grips show a few light handling marks. Mechanically fine.
