<B>Massachusetts Patriot John Brooks Clipped Signature</B></I> "<I>J. Brooks</B></I>". One page, 7.5" x 2", Medford, Massachusetts, January 20, 1791. A fine, large signature as a witness taken from a legal document. Old collector's notations in pencil, else very fine condition. John Brooks (1752-1825) was a medical doctor by training and entered the Continental Army as a captain.
