Massachusetts May 5, 1780 Sheet of Eight. This is the first example we've seen of a fully signed, issued Massachusetts Guaranteed multiple. Each note has its two signatures on the face and is signed by Peter Boyer on the back for the United States. The sheet consists of one of each of the following denominations: $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $7, $8 and $20. Each note has a small crosscut cancel in the body and a large wedge cancel at its edge. Each note bears the red "Interest Paid One Year" stamp. But for their cancels, seven of the eight notes are perfect Gems. The $7 note has a wrinkle in it. Extremely rare and desirable. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Premier carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
