Massachusetts August 18, 1775 20s Very Fine-Extremely Fine. A lovely Sword in Hand Note both engraved and printed by Paul Revere. The note is very well margined, and it's a perfect piece save for the center repair. With the thread removal you are able to see more of the swordsman, but the tiny holes remain visible. Ten thousand pieces were printed, but the serial number has faded. This is one of the most popular issues among Colonial Currency Collectors due in large part to its direct association with Paul Revere and also due to the great Continental Soldier Vignette on the back who holds his sword upright "In defence of American Liberty".

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
